Outline –
· Very first and last scenes based in the present day
· The majority of the rest takes place in ‘80’s to ‘90’s
· Younger sister of a boy in a band is desperate to join
· The sister has a slight love interest with the guitarist but is mainly interested in the music
· Brother is not allowing it as he knows what it could entail (drugs, alcohol etc.)
· He eventually gives in
· Later he regrets this as the sister begins to spiral out of control; consistent partying, alcohol problem, drug taking etc.
· Eventually, the stress and popularity of being in a well-known band overtakes the sisters life and becomes too much so she kills herself
· The brother is overwhelmed with guilt and regret
