Summary of Research –

The most common similarities in the production company logos were:

·        The majority had orchestral type music playing; if not they had no music at all

·        All had an animation of some description

·        None lasted longer than 30 seconds (that I found)

·        The actual company’s name was often the most obvious asset to their introduction

·        Always a camera movement; for example, Colombia zoomed out to reveal full picture

·        None were too clustered with anything other than a background, the logo and the production company’s name
